How to Prepare

If stored in the freezer: Remove the required number of frozen modaks and place them in normal-temperature water for 1 minute. Lightly grease a steamer plate or banana leaf with desi ghee. Arrange the modaks with a small gap between them, cover and steam for 15 minutes on medium heat. Carefully remove and serve hot with a drizzle of desi ghee.
